{"id":744,"date":"2015-11-02T19:49:28","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T19:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/coscc.org\/?page_id=744"},"modified":"2015-12-07T08:12:02","modified_gmt":"2015-12-07T08:12:02","slug":"action-item-co-med-board-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.coscc.org\/?page_id=744","title":{"rendered":"CO Med Board Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Direct from the Colorado Medical Board, here is the final word on new Guidelines.<\/h3>\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.gov\/pacific\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/img_banner_941_x_148\/public\/DORA_Banner2.png?itok=5Qp2Mrvn\" alt=\"Department of Regulatory Agencies\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.gov\/pacific\/dora\/Medical_News#NewMMJPolicy\" target=\"_blank\">New Policy Regarding Recommendation for Marijuana as a Therapeutic Option<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>In accordance with Senate Bill 15-014, the Medical Marijuana Workgroup (Workgroup), comprised of delegates of the Colorado Medical Board, representatives of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and physicians specializing in medical marijuana, drafted a <em>Policy Regarding Recommendation for Marijuana as a Therapeutic Option<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Following stakeholder engagement in which feedback was received on behalf of approximately 400 patients, physicians, and industry representatives, the Workgroup revised the policy for consideration by the Board.
